MSInspire 2018 – Month in Review

All the talk and show was great but what has happened since the rubber met the road? Let’s take a look at the month in review.

Modern Desktop: Once again, we’re moving quickly to help our customers shift their desktops from the old to the new. When it comes to Microsoft-sponsored migration pilots, Ascent was #3 globally last year, and we’re at the top again already this year. Our goal is to get companies to Windows 10 and Office 365 ProPlus to allow IT departments to move from massive upgrades every 3-7 years to the more manageable and less disruptive update process. Many of our customers we’ve worked with over the past 12 months have moved their Ascent-run pilots into production and will soon have this problem in the rear-view mirror.

Azure/Azure AI: We’ve done some great things leveraging Azure but after Inspire, we were chosen to reframe our entire Innovation practice to match better with the way people consume cloud-scale technologies. We’ve pulled our AI practice out as a stand-alone activity and are creating an ‘AI+’ offering to demystify AI. We’re already working with customers to integrate AI into existing systems – i.e., AI+ their existing systems to make our customers’ existing systems work smarter.
